F 1. The other Altendorf.
In 1906, Wilhelm Altendorf invented the sliding table saw, a machine concept which has delighted hundreds of thousands of users since then. Now we are taking his idea to another level: With a machine which you can work with in a way which is both familiar and yet completely different: A machine which retains the capabilities of the sliding table saw while opening up entirely new possibilities when working with large panels. A machine which will revolutionize the way you think about cutting with an Altendorf. At the moment our engineers are working intensively on optimising the software and perfecting the ergonomics and final details of the design so that the new F 1 lives up to Altendorf's high standards. In 2010 you can look forward to getting to know a new way of cutting: soon to be already here with the Altendorf F 1!
